The handsome actor George Clooney was up for an Academy Award nomination for best actor in 2010 for his role in the film ‘Up in the Air’. But he voted Jeff Bridges his competitor who was nominated in same best actor category for his role in ‘Crazy Heart’ and won the Oscar.

Clooney thought that Jeff Bridges deserves the award and so he voted him. Even George took a photo of his ballot and sent it to the Crazy Heart star.

George’s rep, Stan Rosenfield, confirmed the tale to the New York Post, adding, “According to George, ‘It was an amazing performance.’ He also told Jeff, ‘If you don’t win, you can’t blame me.’”
